Acting for the stage - Ages 8-11

 

Learn the basic tools actors use to create stellar characters and performances. Through acting exercises, scene and monologue work, students will explore acting for the stage. Students will create characters, learn theatre vocabulary, increase body awareness, collaborate with others, and have fun! Parents are welcome to join us and see what students learned during our last class.

Classes run Saturdays April 14-May 19, 2017

Time: 9:00 a.m.-10 a.m.

Intro to Acting - Ages 13-17

Has your teenager been bugging you about taking drama classes? If so, this is the class for them. Through text analysis, acting exercises, improvisation and scene work, students will explore the world of acting for the stage, Students will also build confidence, increase body awareness, collaborate with others and have fun! During the last class, we will have a mini recital for friends and family.

Classes run Saturdays April 14-May 19, 2017

Time: 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Acting 101 -  Adults 18+

Learn the basics of acting including theatre games, scene study, and choosing a monologue. You will also learn the basics of auditioning and how to create your acting career. This is a great class for adult actors who are new to acting and want to build a career in the industry.
